A person protected against a certain infection.

The biological system responsible for fighting diseases in the body. Its primary function is to detect foreign substances (bacteria, viruses, fungi, or parasites) in the body and to develop a response against them. This defense mechanism is known as the immune response. It involves the production of proteins/molecules called antibodies to eliminate foreign organisms that could potentially be harmful.
